When she was a teenager she fell in briefly with the wrong crowd and got picked up for joyriding when she was 15. She had to spend some time in juvie but not for long as it was her first offense. Her probation officer was a huge influence and helped her get her life back on track. She was very impressed not only by him, but by how many people he had helped. Because of his influence she wanted to be a juvenile probation officer and finished high school. Her parents couldn’t really pay for school so she started working as a stripper to pay for it, drawn to the industry from her own cheerful enjoyment from her body. She got accepted into Tampa University and left to start a degree in Sociology and to look for more work as a stripper. Finance: Variable History: Paige was born early August 1977 to Patricia Halliwell and Sam Wilder (Patricia’s Whitelighter), because their love was forbidden and therefore so was Paige, they left her as a newborn with a Nun called Agnes. Agnes found her a home with the Matthews family who named her Paige in order to honour the only request the birth parents made, that her name begin with a P. Her parents died in a car accident when she was a teenager, a crash she survived due to her magic though she didn’t realize that for many years. She blamed herself for their deaths for a long time, but that tragic incident motivated her to make something of her life and she finished High School, and was accepted into Berkley. After she graduated from Berkley she joined South Bay Social Services in order to help people. She also started to go to P3 because it was owned by Piper Halliwell who she was interested in because she felt like she might be related to the Halliwells. After the death of Pru Halliwell Piper cast a spell to call a lost witch, intending to call Pru back from the dead this was impossible because Pru had already passed over. However the spell did work, it just redirected itself to Paige. It called Paige and dropped a newspaper with Pru Halliwell’s obituary, upon seeing it Paige felt compelled to attend the funeral. Afterwards she nearly died on the roof of P3 after being attacked by the Sources main assassin but was saved by her awakening magical powers. Phoebe witnessed her orbing and she and Piper discovered the truth about who she was in time to save her and convince her to join them. Over the years she learned to control her powers and helped Phoebe and Piper defeat many demons; she had some problems with her relationship with her new Sisters. Piper took awhile to be able to open up enough to let Paige in, and unfortunately she was the first to notice Cole becoming evil after he had been taken over by the source. For a long time this drove a wedge between her and Phoebe. She served as a midwife at Wyatt’s birth, and remained very protective of him and Chris, partly because she was a daughter of a Whitelighter and a Witch and her birth had to be a secret she felt strongly the need to celebrate the lives of her nephews. Later, after coming to terms with her Whitelighter nature she meets Henry Mitchell, a parole officer, after working with him on several occasions when her whitelighter duties interfered with or coincided with his they fell in love. After learning of her ability to heal when he was shot in a bank hold up, and dating for awhile he proposed and they were married. In the last episode she was shown briefly in the future to have a Son named Henry Junior and twin girls.
